MissionOG Team Member Promotions

MissionOG recently crossed the ten year mark. During that time, we have been honored to work with many outstanding leaders and teams — supporting the expansion of their businesses and helping them navigate their respective markets. As importantly, we have been able to attract and maintain a group of highly talented, dedicated co-workers at MissionOG. Through their contributions, our firm has become a preferred investment partner for high growth companies seeking capital to scale their businesses.

As the firm enters 2023, we are excited to announce the following promotions of three team members:

• Eddie Brinson to Senior Associate
• Kelsey O’Neill to Chief of Staff
• Zack Strauss to Associate

Eddie Brinson joined MissionOG in 2019 as an analyst, then was promoted to an associate in 2021. Over the past two years, Eddie has become an essential part of our investment team and has expanded his contribution to the firm’s success. Eddie quarterbacks the quarterly valuation process from end-to-end. He supports our deal discovery and diligence process by analyzing the information collected and incorporating outside data sources. Eddie assesses the landscape of portfolio and performance management systems to keep our platform effective. As senior associate, Eddie will broaden our network reach into prospective companies and relevant co-investment partners. He will also take a more active role in supporting the portfolio through greater engagement with our companies.

Kelsey O’Neill started with MissionOG in 2018 as an operations manager. In 2021, she was promoted to director of operations. She has since has expanded our firm’s platform and processes to unlock greater productivity and innovation. Her areas of responsibility have included human resources, vendor management, investor relations, and systems support. As chief of staff, Kelsey will broaden duties to include internal reporting, continued coordination of events, and greater responsibility for investor engagement.

Zack began with MissionOG as an analyst in 2021. Over the past year and half, Zack has delivered meaningful contributions to the firm. He has maintained and improved our performance tracking across our portfolio. Zack provides structure and support to the firm’s prospective investment deal pipeline. He supports ongoing deal diligence through quantitative and qualitative analysis and helped source our recent investment in Roots Automation. As an associate, Zack will more actively develop our deal flow pipeline by becoming a greater presence at relevant industry events and expanding our reach within our target markets. He will prepare diligence reporting and analysis so that the firm can make optimal decisions for investment.
